Welcome to Jetpower Boatshop's current range of Premium Pre-Owned jet skis.
All of the skis that you see featured have been carefully selected to offer you peace of mind when purchasing a used jet ski or personal watercraft. All of our Pre-Owned skis are fully workshop tested prior to sale, and most can be sold with optional warranty cover (please ask staff for further details).
When selecting a used ski, it is important to find out the history of the unit. ie. Does the ski have a service history? Why was the jet ski sold? Also enquire as to the ongoing maintenance costs for the ski, as this will vary from model to model, and manufacturer to manufacturer.
We also recommend that you seek advice as to which ski will best suit you, and your intended usage. For example, if you are intending to water ski or tow an inflatable tube behind your jet ski, the vessel must be registered to carry three people. Note: many jet skis are actualy only licensed as two seaters, meaning you'll be forced back to the shore if the authorities catch you!
Also, some skis are more stable than others, which can have a significant impact if you are intending to fish or scuba dive from the ski.
In addition to stability, the design of the lower hull also plays a major factor in how the ski performs under way. Some skis are well suited to race-style applications, with their flatter hull designs allowing faster cornering speeds and greater hole-shot acceleration. In contrast, some skis offer a deeper 'v-hull' design, providing a far smoother and dryer ride, and being better suited to high speed cruising and general recreational use. The later hull design is also far superior for towing applications, as the ski sits deeper in the water, and is less likely to be pulled sideways by the force excerted by a skier as they are whiped into a turn.
